Eclipsed by Glory explores the relationship between God’s glory and the human frame, with particular emphasis on Genesis 2:7 — “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” · Oil on canvas.
BOYS WILL BE BOYS (2016)
Boys Will Be Boys, a phrase traditionally used to dismiss the otherwise reprehensible actions of a male child, is here used as an assertion and praise: boys will be boys. These pieces attempt to address the adultification of black children by giving expression to the breadth of their experiences. · Oil on canvas.
